On Thanksgiving we were about to go to the hospital because my contractions were about 5 min apart. So we got everything ready and then took Bryson to my parents but the contractions stopped so we had Thanksgiving. Then that night they started up again. By 2 in the morning they were 5 min apart and really really hard. So we got up and got dressed to go and my water broke. I couldn't believe that both of my pregnancies my water breaks on my due date. What are the chances. Bentley was born on November 25th (his due date) at 8:25 am weighing in at 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 inches long. Labor was so nice and quick. We had to stop and wait a few minutes for my mom to get there and a few more pushes and he was out! He is such a great baby and a wonderful addition to our family! Bryson loves his little brother so much!

We had so much fun with Bruce's family! There were so many of us and we just stayed up late laughing, talking, and eating. It was awesome! Besides all of that we camped in our new trailer and that makes camping even better!!

My Eye Surgery in SLC!

I was not looking forward to this surgery at all. I'm so grateful for the power of priesthood blessings that kept me calm the whole time. THey put me to sleep for 5 minutes so they could do a localized anesthesia. I woke up in the middle of surgery which is what they said that I would do. I had tons of plastic around my face and an oxygen mask and I was just about to freak out but had to calm myself back down. The surgery was one hour and five minutes. I stayed calm the whole time. The doctor said that I did it all on my own he barely gave me anything. Which I was glad because the more they gave me then the more the baby got too. We were considered VIP's at the hospital because this was the first surgery they had done on an eye of a woman who was pregnant. After the surgery we went to another hospital to check the heartbeat of the baby and it was strong and healthy. I am just so grateful that everything was a success and that the baby is ok. We will find out more next week when we have our ultrasound! Now I just have to take 3 different eye drops 3 times a day for the next month. One of the eyedrops was $62 after insurance! Got to love it hahahah Thanks for all of the prayers in our behalf! We love you!

Eye Eye Eye Oh my!

Yesterday I went into the eye doctor for a check up because I have been having some crazy vision problems. He did a bunch of tests and said that my retina is detaching. So he sent me to a specialist who just happened to be down from SLC that day and had an opening for me! What a blessing! Bruce and I went to the specialist and as he was looking in my eye he was saying "WOW" "Oh my" which started to make me nervous. AFter he was done he explained that my retina is detaching because of scar tissue, my blood vessels are leaking fluid, and there are two holes in my retina. So what we have to do to get it fixed so I don't loose my vision in my right eye.... SURGERY! I have to have it as soon as possible so they can repair it so I don't loose any more vision than I already have. We have to talk to my OB doctor and see what type of anathesisa (spell) that I can have. So hopefully I can have the surgery so I don't lose any more vision and everything can be healthy with our new baby! It is a blessing that we found it when we did. We will make it through and it will make us stronger! (ps. I don't know if this pic is the one to describe my eye it just makes the post) lol

So I got this idea from my friend Mandi at www.vintagerevivals.blogspot.com. The directions are on her website. You need tinfoil, modge podge, steel paint, and Ralph Lauren black silk paint. I couldn't find the steel paint so I used a pewter paint. I LOVE how it turned out. It's kind of different, but defiantly makes my bathroom pop! The pictures don't really do it justice but I had to get them on here! It was quite the process but worth it in the end!! THANKS MANDI for the idea!! Love your guts ;)

Bryson's surgery went so great! He had what is called a hypospadias repair. I'm so grateful that prayers are answered and that he is nice and healthy. Dr. Cope (surgeon) and Dr. Lynn (anistheologist spelling?) did a great job! We love our doctors!

For Halloween this year we thought we would dress up as Twilight characters. There is kind of a joke behind that too. When I was pregnant with Bryson, I used this lotion that had sparkles in it. When I went to the Dr. he was putting the jelly on my belly to listen to the heartbeat and he looked really close and said "You have sparkles on your belly. Are you a vampire?" with a wink. Then when Bryson was born they laid him on my chest/belly and he got the sparkles on him. So of course my Dr. said he was right, we are vampires. Way funny! So it is only fitting that we were Edward, Bella, and Jacob for Halloween!

Here's our picture of our precious baby! I was only 11 weeks along, but you can really see that it's a baby!!! It was way cool to see the baby. The doctor couldn't find the heart beat so that was kind of scary so we had to do an ultrasound and it was wonderful!! The baby was moving all over the place!!

I'm 6 weeks along and am due around March 16th which is right during spring break so that is really nice. We couldn't be more excited! California and Bruce's Birthday!

Over UEA break Bruce and I headed to Cali to visit with family! It was very adventurous! We got to stand on the corner and hold up signs for people to vote yes on 8! We got a lot of people honking and we got a lot of naughty fingers! It was very very fun and interesting to see what this proposition really is all about. We also celebrated Bruce's b-day last week but the pictures didn't look very nice haha! So Happy Birthday to my sweets! 27! Wow your old. I love you and can't wait to spend even more b-day's with you!

Well I finally have some pictures! Bruce and I went down to Mesquite last weekend to enjoy our free 2 night stay I won on the radio. We had a lot of fun just relaxing by the pool, eating really good Mexican food, and being with each other. I love my husband!

We also have some new friends. We got two chickens to lay us some golden eggs! tehe They're really fun. Bruce had such a blast building their cage and making sure that no cats could get in! IT was really fun.

Well I haven't posted for a while but I don't have too many pictures so I didn't want to post! I still need to take some pic's so you can all see my classroom! I totally LOVE teaching it's the best job ever! I even got my first paycheck on Friday and it really was the biggest one I've ever gotten! Bruce started back to school this week! He's not happy at all! All I have to say is that I"m glad I'm finished!!! Well I'll post some pictures when I get some! ;)

Hey Everyone! We had a family reunion with my dad's side of the family last Saturday! It was sure eventful! We went swimming at Veyo Pool, Played Games at the Veyo Park, Bruce, Tav, and Trev got in a wreck, and we went rollerskating at the roller rink! It brought back so many memories. We love the roller rink! It was a lot of fun. By the way Bruce is ok and Tavish is getting there he went and saw a wound specialist yesterday! I love my family!

For the rest of the week we played on Cedar Mt. with Bruce's family. It was a lot of fun except for the rain we had to leave early! Bruce was offically a mountain man with a huge beard! I'm glad to say that he has shaved it all off and looks so sexy! We played horse shoes and just lounged around and held little Jack! It was a great time! Sorry I don't know how to arrange the pics nicely! haha

Well we had a wonderful week last week. We went to Park City with my family for part of the week and to Cedar Mountain with Bruce's family. In Park City we played around at the bottom of the ski lifts and did the zip line down the mountain. I even did a back flip on the trampolines! We went shopping in SLC at the Gateway and at Steve and Barry's (I love that store) and then we spent an entire day at Lagoon! It was great! When I was younger we went to Lagoon every summer and I always wished I had a boyfriend with me and this time I did we even got to ride the Farriswheel together!

Good Old Montana

This past week Bruce and I and his parents headed to Missoula, Montana! It was a 12 hour drive! It was sure long. But when we got there it was sure worth it! It was soooooo beautiful. It even snowed while we were there! We had a lot of fun checking out all of the beautiful land that Heavenly Father has created. We might move there we might not but for now I'm perfectly fine with staying in St. George for the rest of my life! I loved being with my handsome husband for a full week!
